This authentic Brooklyn loft is located in a warehouse dating back to 1850. I modified the floorpan to incorporate a yoga room, improve the circulation between rooms, and increase the natural light to a guest bedroom. Every surface has been considered to create a tactile experience that reflects natural light in different ways. The sofa is upholstered in crushed velvet, the coffee table has a hand-lacquered, split-bamboo finish, the rug is natural silk, and each wall in the living room is either painted brick or treated with a reflective wall covering to create a dynamic envelope as you pass through the space.
